Unveiling a Blue Plaque to Henry Samuel Morley

25 September, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

On Saturday 25th September, we are unveiling a Blue Plaque to Henry Samuel Morley who owned a number of confectionery shops in Worcester, Malvern and Birmingham. Sadly, he was a second class passenger on HMS Titanic and was lost in the sinking.

He lived above the shop now occupied by the Mela restaurant at 22 Foregate Street, just past the railway bridge on the right hand side. The plaque is being unveiled there by his granddaughter at 10am.
